FAQs

  1. What is Invisalign – Invisalign treatment is the process of wearing a series of clear, removable aligners that gradually straighten your teeth. No brackets and wires, and none of the restrictions that come with metal braces.
  2. Can anyone tell that I’m wearing the aligners? Invisalign aligners are virtually invisible. Others may not even notice you’re wearing them.
  3. What are dentures – Dentures are removable appliances that can replace missing teeth and help restore your smile.
  4. Types of Dentures –
    1. Conventional. This full removable denture is made and placed in your mouth after the remaining teeth are removed and tissues have healed, which may take several months.
    2. Immediate. This removable denture is inserted on the same day that the remaining teeth are removed. We will take measurements and make models of your jaw during a preliminary visit. You don’t have to be without teeth during the healing period, but may need to have the denture relined or remade after your jaw has healed.
    3. Overdenture. Implants can be placed to provide stability and support for the denture. An overdenture fits over the implants and are more stable than conventional dentures
    4. Fixed Dentures –  use implant technology to attach them to your mouth. Fixed dentures can only be placed and removed by a certified dentist. However, while you are wearing them, they are extremely strong and durable. They will not slip or move around like conventional dentures, and you can enjoy a range of foods without worrying about them coming loose.
